Since May 2005 Fr. Daniel is the chaplain of one of the two catholic geriatrics in the city. The institution is run by the sisters from St. Catherine of Alexandria religious order and there live approximately 15 people. This center belongs to Caritas St. Petersburg. Every day mass is said there and it is attended by people that work in other Caritas projects and members of the “Professional Formation Center for Social Work” that work in the same building. This geriatric is for elderly people who are alone or poor. Also an orthodox priest visits the orthodox people that live in this place.
