From September 2006 we started to visit once a month some Catholics that live in Karzun, a town 130 km from Ulianovsk. There are about 25 Catholic families comprising a total of 70 people, all of them of Armenian background. We usually arrive around noon as the people start to get together. The priest hears confessions and the sisters talk to the people and play with the children. The road to this town is a bit dangerous especially during winter because it is icy and slippery but nevertheless it is very comforting to meet these people in a family atmosphere, specially the many kids and young people that come to Mass |
